The 2005 Metropolitan ball was held on
May 5, 2005 at the Penthouse, located at 14th
Street and Fifth Avenue and offering some of
the most beautiful views of the famous New
York City skyline. Mayor Michael
Bloomberg was the
evenings honoree and former Met Club
President and Republican
District Leader William F. B. O'Reilley was presented with the
Senator Roy M. Goodman Award
for his contribution to the local Republican
